In the first place, I led a comprehensive restructure to better manage rostering and thereby reduce penalty rates and to outsource services that were not core business function, including food service. With business fundamentals in place, I then moved on to leading a number of growth initiatives, including improving member retention through rolling out loyalty schemes, developing strategies to build synergies between bar and gaming operations (such as allowing gaming credits to be easily spent at the bar) and managing the procurement and implementation of new touchscreen POS assets to streamline all these new strategies.I am also able to provide business-as-usual leadership, managing people, providing front-of-house maître d’ services and ensuring compliance with emerging legislation from RCG / RSA, OHS and food hygiene standards to anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism obligations.
