Co-Founder Apex Anesthesia Review
CurrentI am co-owner and co-founder of APEX Anesthesia Review. I started APEX in 2012 with my partner Kevin Baker and launched APEX in the fall of 2014. APEX serves 2 populations. It is a web-based review to help SRNAs pass boards and it allows CRNAs to earn Class A credits. APEX can be opened anywhere there is internet access and can be used on your smartphone, tablet or computer. In just a short time, APEX has become the national leader in nurse anesthesia student review. We have captured over 85 Universities and Colleges in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. These schools incorporate APEX into their curriculum to help their students pass the National Certification Exam (NCE). As well, 1000s of students have independently used APEX to help study and pass the NCE. SRNAs subscribe to APEX for 1-3 years depending on their needs and study style. In 2016, we started offering CRNAs the opportunity to earn credits while they review. CRNAs will find APEX a great resource for not only review but also to keep updated on the latest changes in anesthesia and to earn Class A credits in an effortless manner. There are presently 3 products offered to CRNAs: the Back To Basics course for 60 Class A credits, the Clinical Updates for 10 Class A credits, and the CPC Pharmacy Core Module for 6 Class A credits. One more thing, here is an example of just one of the hundreds of testimonials we have received: “I passed my boards in 100 questions! APEX prepared me to critically think outside the box. It was a steep learning curve at the beginning but it was all worth it. Thank you, Kevin & Dan, for putting your heart & minds in APEX. It’s a great must have review to ensure success on boards.”—R. L. La Sallee UniversityPlease contact me with any questions at daniel@apexanesthesia.com or visit our website at APEXAnesthesia.com
