It Systems Engineer
CurrentPrimary responsibilities of this role are managing the company's cloud-based technology infrastructure and security controls, with a focus on implementing proactive improvements. This involved evaluating and testing new software solutions, security controls, planning technology upgrades, general troubleshooting, and incident response. Worked across multiple time zones in order to coordinate with an international team. Day to day tasks included general trouble shooting and maintenance of a multi-OS group of approximately 250 devices (Azure, Intune, and Jamf Pro/Protect). In addition, supported end users through a Jira Service Desk based IT ticket system. Additional responsibilities included front and back-end vulnerability triage/management (Snyk), administration of Okta (Identity Engine Device Management (FastPass) and SSO setup, as well as general administrative tasks), and working closely with migration experts in combining multiple O365, GSuite, and Zoom tenants. Was also responsible for the setup and maintenance of our Azure/Intune instance, including the troubleshooting and setup of autopilot as well as patch management and security controls. Personal work projects included utilizing Okta Workflows in order to automate several projects, including onboarding/offboarding with integrations into Jira, Slack, and Asana.
