Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) is a system that aims to monitor and control equipments/devices at remote sites. It collects and process real-time data and display in a centralized location where operators can view, operate and study. To facilitate data transfer from remote sites to centralized control center, telecom systems are employed. A wide range of telecom systems can be employed: Fiber Optic, Power line carriers, radios (point to point or point to multipoint).As a SCADA engineer, knowlegde and experience on the telecoms systems is paramout for effective maintenance, commisioning as well as design proposals for SCADA systems.Having gained 15 years of experience on divergent SCADA and Telecoms platforms, in design, installations, commisioning and testing, and having developed indepth knowledge and skills on these systems, I can:- Offer timely and effective solutions to complex engineering problems related to SCADA systems.-Work with clients to propose the best working solutions based on their unique needs and budget.-Maintain an effective maintenance schedule and exceed client service level requirements-Offer technical support to clients as aftersale service or SLA.-Lead or be a team player to a dedicated SCADA team to design, implement, install, commision and maintain scada and power telecom equipments to maintain high standards of service.
