As a Physics Ph.D. candidate at the University of Florida, I'm deeply involved with the groundbreaking ESA + NASA Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA) project. Within the UF LISA lab, among other undertakings, I’ve taken the helm in monitoring long-term length drifts of the LISA Telescope through advanced optics metrology. This journey involved architecting an iodine saturation spectroscopy experiment from the ground up—from navigating vendor communications, crafting complicated optical layout designs, creating CAD designs in SOLIDWORKS, to soldering analog laser lock-boxes.My programming expertise, which spans Python, Mathematica, and MATLAB, has been instrumental in my simulation projects, notably in developing a Fisher information formalism to address LISA's intrinsic tilt-to-length noise. Beyond the lab, I have expanded my skill set with machinery operations, enabling me to craft scientific tools autonomously. Additionally, I've refined crucial soft skills such as science communication, mentoring, project management, and creative problem-solving. As I approach the end of my Ph.D. journey in August 2024, I am enthusiastic about applying all the skills acquired over the past decade.
