Responsible for the product management of investment compliance for State Street. This involved the coordination of all global sites across North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. Led senior management business-level discussion and decisions involving product vision and strategy along with standardization of operational best practices. Organized and delivered presentations to executive management on operational changes & direction along with product management & required development Led sales presentations to potential clients on a global scale with visits to various North American, European and Asia Pacific cities. Consistently handled RFPs, RFIs, compilation of sales figures, growth statistics and marketing materials for new and existing clients. Charged with compiling and monitoring product budgets and sourcing necessary funding through business case submission and/or senior management lobbying.ACHIEVEMENTS:  Substantially reduced overhead and operating costs through staff relocation and expansion into low cost global sites while improving the efficiency and timing of information delivery. Shortened the amount of time taken to deliver compliance results by more than 2 hours (daily). Added more than $500,000 in revenue from sales over a 2 year span while improving the relationship scores of current clients from 3.0 to a 3.8 score (out of 5) over the same period.  Launched & co-led the development of the Compliance Dashboard (online tool) with more than 50% of the global client base currently utilizing its fail management capabilities.

Managed the operations of 14 staff responsible for the investment compliance service. Responsible for implementing procedures and automating manual processes where possible. Led the conversion of two separate global sites to the Charles River system for compliance testing.  Provided guidance to staff on all day to day activities and processes. Worked closely with employees on their development and career growth while taking a lead role in State Street’s mentoring program. Organized and led discussions on product expansion and new service ideas. Held meetings with management and staff to generate ideas around improving standard operating procedures and limiting risk. ACHIEVEMENTS:  Sent overseas to Sydney Australia and successfully repaired a client relationship and implemented standard operating procedures for the investment compliance service within the SSIA team. Received a Super Service Award for leadership in client relationship and the implementation of new clients onto the compliance platform (Charles River).

Managed the derivatives and securities valuation and compliance operations with a team of between 5-8 staff responsible for securities valuation and derivatives administration on a daily basis. Managed the day to day processes including swaps valuations, and other OTC derivatives trackingSuccessfully implemented the integration of Bloomberg information and modelling for all swap portfolios for three large pension clients.
