Ph.D. research assistant and GEM Fellow at Washington State University in electrical and computer engineering. My academic and professional interests include power systems distribution/microgrid studies and DER integration, machine learning and deep learning model development and control. Currently, my area of research encompasses Reinforcement Learning and Safety-based DRL for control of grid-edge devices in power distribution networks. As a former research assistant, I gained graduate experience working for the Solar Energy Technologies Office at the University of Oklahoma in the hardware construction of a 480V distribution testbed and switchgear automation control system. I have worked with Pacific Northwest National Laboratory as a doctoral intern under the Distributed Systems and Power Modeling Groups, focusing on autonomous control and modeling for grid-forming inverters, and the DDG group under Design For Testability (DFT) team performing SOC fabric testing simulation and development with Intel Corporation. I am expecting to complete my doctoral studies by December 2025.
