-Lead for the U.S. Forest Service Greenhouse Gas Inventory -Represent the Forest Service on USDA Facility Working Group teams for greenhouse gas, facilities, water, green purchasing, and waste/recycling.-Forest Service lead on multi-agency project to improve the utility invoice management process and increase data access using a new system being implemented by the National Financial Center (NFC).-Forest Service lead on team to develop system and data requirements for a Request for Proposals (RFP) to modernize the NFC utility management system.-Subject matter expert for the technical evaluation of proposals submitted for utility management RFP.Intra-Agency Projects:-Manage multi-year, $300,000 Advanced Metering project in accordance with Federal laws and regulations.-Established and expanded partnerships with the Philadelphia School District and the Overbrook Environmental Education Center.Biological Scientist, Northern Research Station (2005 – 2009)-Served as the Northern Research Station Sustainability Coordinator -Produced the 2008 Sustainable Operations Summit as the Northern Research Station steering committee representative.-Advised on carbon sequestration and management.-Created, edited, and prepared communications for various research programs.Key Projects:-2008 Greenhouse Gas Inventory for the Greater Yellowstone Areaincluding six National Forests and two National Wildlife Refuges.-Delivered a customizable carbon calculator template to the cities of Philadelphia, Boston, Baltimore, New York, Washington D.C., and the State of Vermont.Biological Scientist, Forester, Ecologist, Northern Research Station (2000 – 2005)-Maintained database, measured and sampled ecological data, maintained carbon flux site equipment and managed data.-Participated in intensive field campaigns to investigate the photosynthetic response of Aspen trees to various treatments of CO2 and ozone at the Free Air CO2 Enrichment (FACE) site in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.
