I was a member of the Beam department, Radio-Frequency section and my group was responsible for accelerating and damping systems in CERN. I worked on the Proton-Synchrotron (PS) and Proton-Synchrotron-Booster (SPS) particle accelerators. These particles will collide at the LHC (Large-Hardrons-Collider). The project consisted of two renovations for particle accelerators. In one of them, we developed a new technology with silicium to obtain more longevity of the equipment. In the other renovation, we updated an existing particle accelerator using technology we had already mastered.- Assembly, test and validation of prototypes- Coordination with an external company in order to build and test the first industrial series.
