The Citizens Utility Board of Ohio is a nonprofit, nonpartisan consumer watchdog that advocates for residential and small business utility customers. Dan serves as a founding board member and President. Primary roles in this position includes: - Hired senior staff, including Executive Director - Development of vision - Primary liaison with national and regional foundation funders - Direct advocacy work on special projects to increase staff capacity. In this role, Dan has focused on CUB OH's local advocacy in NE OHIO, specifically on Municipal Electric reform and aggregation reform.

Managed the energy clean tech business development portfolio for an advanced energy law firm, including projects ranging from distributed power generation at individual businesses to community-wide energy efficiency retrofit programs.
