Having a career in Logistics and Warehousing, that spans over 10 years, fulfilling a variety of roles such as Operations & Inventory Management, LEAN & Continuous Improvement and Project Management I feel I have the experience to apply a practical and logical approach to roles I take on.I am currently employed by LKQ Europe as a Senior Project Manager in IT. Primarily looking at Governance & Compliance related projects/programmes.Previously employed by Euro Car Parts (an LKQ subsidiary) as a Project Manager primarily in IT. Responsible for (but not limited to) the delivery of a UK wide ePOD roll out and the operational roll of the Fit It For Me initiative.Previously employed by M&S as the Implementation Project Manager for the Systems and Efficiency Programme across the M&S Clothing and Home network. Responsible for the multi site delivery of Warehouse Labour Management by JDA.Previously employed as the ICQA (Inventory Control & Quality Assurance) Systems & Projects Manager at M&S Castle Donington EDC/NDC with my responsibilities being (but not limited to) to deliver the ICQA Change Agenda in a project management capacity primarily focusing on system enhancements, offer solutions to departmental, operational and site problems (heavily supported with a technical mindset on system capability), provide data analysis to support change, scope a problem / issue or identify root cause and support in the daily departmental operations in an SME capacity. Previously employed in Inventory, Operational, Planning and Continuous Improvement roles where responsibilities have included leading departments to deliver daily core requirements, the architecture of solutions to overcome warehouse inefficiencies and issues - incl. design of IT & systems solutions, delivering peak solutions including workload balancing projects across manual and automated pick areas driving operational efficiencies s in line with resource, budget and system capability. I am a highly motivated who is no stranger to working in silos or as part of a larger team. I pride myself on the ability to think creatively and identify solutions. I am very technically minded and can adapt to the intricate workings of a warehouse operation and supporting systems often understanding the detail and applying my overall technical understanding to deliver results.
