I'm a recent alumni from the Cognitive Science program at the University of Toronto, an entrepeneur, and an author. During my studies, I specialized in psychedelic science, thinking and reasoning, world religions, and new media technology. My favorite topics of inquiry lie at the intersection of science-fiction and science fact, such as vitual reality and the emerging "metaverses", and the role of immersive arts technologies as a contemporary form of ritual magic. In 2015, I started the now annual Mapping the Mind psychedelic science conference in Toronto through the Canadian Students for Sensible Drug Policy. This conference quickly grew from a dozen people in a room to hundreds of people every year raising thousands to fund nonprofit research into psychedelic therapy through groups like MAPS Canada. In 2020, I coordinated a succesful crowdfunding campaign for my upcoming book, 'Illumination Games: A Magician's Guide to Psychedelics and mystical Experiences'. I offer tutoring, teaching, and consulting services, and have worked with diverse clients ranging from high school students through business masters students and art collectives.I'm a hobby musician, and have worked in the arts and entertainments industry as an audio-visual technician and sound board operator. In my future pursuits, I hope to integrate my experience in Cognitive Science and the arts, and to create transformative art experiences.
