I am a fully-trained midshipman with documented and demonstrable leadership and followership skills. During a training cruise with the United States Navy, I served as navigator of YP-706, responsible for both the timely and professional navigation of four vessels totaling 900+ tons as well as the safety of nearly 200 souls between them. At the conclusion of this cruise, I was ranked first among my midshipman peers. I possess a rigorous and up-to-date education on matters of national security, intelligence, international relations, religion, culture, and the history and conduct of warfare and mass political violence. In overcoming personal and professional challenges, and navigating being medically discharged from the military, I have displayed calm, tenacity, knowledge, and a willingness to learn; it is these qualities which I wish to apply to the mission of anywhere and everywhere that I work. I am currently open to roles related to technical writing, intelligence analysis, military analysis, and leadership analysis. I hold a secret-level security clearance which is currently active. I possess demonstrable leadership and followership experience having guided thousands of students through my role as a Peer Mentor and a senior officer within the Corps of Cadets at Virginia Tech. I am committed to safety, security, accuracy, efficiency, and learning. Furthermore, I am a self-starter, eager to pursue new roles and take on new challenges. I am eager to be a part of a team that is dedicated to solving big problems, assessing threats, developing and and implementing solutions, and going above and beyond to accomplish tasks and goals.
