Holding qualifications in mining, electrical and instrumentation engineering, project management and management, I have over 24 years of experience in Mining, Manufacturing and the Power Generation Industries in a variety of management and engineering roles. I started my career in England working for British Coal as an indentured mining electrical apprentice. Following the completion of my apprenticeship I working in a variety of roles at different mine sites for British Coal (later to become RJB Mining and then UK Coal) this included first class electrician, shift engineer and maintenance engineer.Following the unfortunate scaling back of the UK coal industry, I moved industries to focus on industrial electrical engineering. I was fortunate to gain experience in the manufacturing and power generation industries where I built on the skills and knowledge founded in the mining industry.For the last 11 years I have been based in Australia focusing my efforts on excellence in Longwall Coal Mining in both QLD and NSW. It is my goal to supply the best service I can and exceed all expectations of my peers and clients.
