I head up both the UK and International Insight teams for SME. Our purpose is to inform and inspire our labels and international teams to help them connect artists with their audiences in the most effective, efficient and creative ways possible. We do this through our own tools and approaches which place consumers at the heart of the planning process and that are designed to engage with staff in a creative business. Activities include:- Supporting A&R and marketing teams in pitches to artists and management.- Designing, conducting and delivering artist insight projects (both quant and qual) to inform campaign strategy on both a local and international level.- Leading the rollout of Consumer Segmentation globally across Sony Music (now over 40 territories).- Facilitating workshops to generate product, communications, creative and partnerships ideas for campaigns.- Responsibility for commissioning "big picture" research and innovation projects that inform SME's strategy.

Working in the Insight team, this role involved designing and project managing quantitative research projects for clients including AOL, Disney, Renault and Beiersdorf.

In this role I supplied multiple business units (including Sales, Planning, Research and Scheduling) with clear and up-to-date understanding of ITV's viewer and revenue performance.
