• Team manages inventory strategy for U.S. distribution center (DC) network totaling $1.1B; personally responsible for ~$50M and ~140K SKUs with the goal of efficiently balancing the need to have the right inventory in the right place for customers against the OPEX investments, labor, and space constraints of the business• Process owner for the DC Network Inbound Product Forecast; which is the key tool and process used by the Inventory team to align with DC Leadership on staffing requirements needed to execute our inventory plan• Lead workshops to update quarterly inbound forecasts; responsible for planning and executing workshops, coordinating with Finance and Network Design teams in order to determine the capabilities and constraints of the Network, and effectively communicating the results to Senior Leadership• Coded VBA automation which took the forecast process from 8 Senior Analysts working through two full day workshops down to a single two hour meeting, with this automation ultimately resulting in more accurate, data driven forecasts• Partnered with Enterprise Systems to implement several systemic changes to drive more efficient material planning after completing analysis which uncovered unintended negative consequences of our current inventory stocking policies• Managed 2017 summer Inventory intern through a project to evaluate planning policies on hazardous materials. This project resulted in a 15% decrease in Hazmat storage needs while alleviating several operational bottlenecks in the DC Network.
