I aim to work in immigration law so as to most effectively put my aptitudes and experiences to work serving the dignity of others. Since attending a Jesuit high school in Maine, I have viewed my vocational endeavors as a means of doing good with all that I have been given. My time engaging with the legal field through mock trial, job shadowing experiences, and volunteer work have imparted to me that I possess a passion for persuasive speaking, formulating arguments, and learning the law. Since attending an immersion trip along the US southern border, I have been keenly aware of the need for volunteers within the field of immigration law. Learning to work in this field would allow me to use the passions I have discovered while simultaneously fulfilling my vision for what I wish my professional career to accomplish.
