I am a junior Mechanical Engineering major at the Colorado School of Mines currently pursuing a career in either the Biomechanics or Aerospace industries. I hold multiple leadership positions at school, including my roles as a Physics Teaching Assistant, Treasurer for our school's Robotics Club, and an active member in clubs such as the Mines Maker Society and Rocket Club. High quality and efficiency are key aspects of any of my projects, whether they are personal or school-related. Through all of my projects, I have become extremely proficient with CAD applications such as SolidWorks (CSWA certified), SketchUp, and Fusion360, working with compound materials such as resin, utilizing machines such as the manual mill, lathe, drill press, band saw, and CNC mill, and 3D printing or fabricating parts with numerous different materials. With this experience, I have become a reliable source of safety and knowledge on fabricating parts for any project here at Mines. With my experience, I intend to pursue a career where I can design and manufacture parts for a high-tech company that prides itself on high quality work.
