Led comprehensive software testing initiatives across multiple banking systems and databases, ensuring data accuracy, system functionality, and compliance with regulatory requirements.Wrote Automated Scripts using Selenium to perform Screen Captures to ensure that Banking Customer SDB accounts data that was entered from the EDGE system were correctly copied into the mainframe CIF (Customer Information System) and into the COR/COS Mainframe account information files.Used these Mainframe screen captures to provide evidence in Jira Xray that the software was performing as expected by comparing the data sent with the data on the screen capture.Completed required annual validation of Automated Controls running in the Mainframe system.Validated that the data results for a new MongoDB database being developed were the same as the original Oracle SQL query results, and that the data was being loaded into the new database correctly.Performed required testing for a planned Mass Migration of checking and saving accounts into upgraded AMG checking and savings accounts. This required checking that master and benefit accounts were upgraded to AMG accounts and that the sub-product transfer was successful. Confirmed that Debit and Credit transactions for test accounts appeared as expected in the COR/COS Mainframe Banking system during a bi-weekly account call with FiServ. Afterwards, the testing results were entered into Jira Xray.

Performed Software Testing for a new mobile phone account feature called Low Cash Mode.Validated that file data was properly transferred to the new feature and that the mainframe files were correctly ingested into the new feature.Ensured that the feature performed as expected when data was manipulated to trigger the Low Cash Mode option, and the results were entered into HP ALM (Application Lifecycle Management).

Working at Nationwide Insurance for the Claims Rapid Response team.Supporting the Claims Production environment using Guidewire Claim Center software. Monitored daily claims activity using an internal Nationwide software interface between Guidewire, daily scheduled batch jobs, and external web services named Claims Adapter to debug, re-run failed jobs, and monitor system status.Resolving tickets in ServiceNow by investigating errors in Claims functionality, working with users to solve any problems with Claim Center, and creating software defects in HP Quality Center to be implemented in future releases.Responding to critical batch job failures in CA Workstation by assigning a task to Force Complete the job or re-running the job after correcting bad input files.Run various workarounds to handle known software defects until they were fixed in a newer release. On call one week per month, responsible for testing after a release and correcting any failed jobs that occur overnight with offshore support.

Developed software and test script data to automate testing of personal and commercial Auto Insurance websites for www.Titan.com and www.VictoriaInsurance.com using Selenium WebDriver to quote and bind new business policies. These test scripts were triggered to run in Hudson, and used the TestNG Eclipse testing framework plugin. Results were uploaded to a database table, and an excel spreadsheet was created using Visual Basic macros to report results. Modified previous Real Time Rater testing software to implement a new server for the RTR Re-Architecture project. Maintained and modified test script data objects using the Java Persistence API (JPA). Used SoapUi to send test data to Acxiom and verify that it returned the correct SVT Referrals, such as Salvage Title.

Developed software to generate a simulated XML Auto Insurance Quote request for each vendor in each state with many combinations of drivers, vehicles, coverages and violations for testing purposes. This request was then sent to a Real Time Rater Web Service using SoapUI, and the response XML was captured, parsed and saved. Finally, a report was created to verify that the data sent in the XML matched the data that was stored in the Oracle 11g database.

Debugged and repaired a call center Telephone Sales system used for selling propane to residential customers. Corrected a problem where the system was not releasing scheduled customer service dates for availability. Archived the source code into a revision control system.

Customized and configured LINCS, a proprietary Shop-Floor Data Entry and Reporting tool for clients, on-site, using Microsoft SQLServer Database Management tools and developing operating reportsusing Crystal Reports. Configuration involved modeling a client’s facility using a hierarchical structure in the LINCS database tool, and creating Data Entry screens. Reports were developed using data entered into the LINCS database, and writing stored procedures using MS-SQL to create Operating Reports and Trend charts. There reports were used to help Plant Managers implement Lean Manufacturing principals. This position required weekly travel to client locations.
