Presently I am a engineering technology student in an internship program and a jr. welding inspector. I also serve as the quality control in the fabrication shop. I have worked with the engineer team in estimating/bidding, design, and customer service. In 2014 I assisted in the designing and implementation of the necessary paper trail for OS9000 certification and AISC. The owner & CEO made this a company priority and tasked my immediate supervisor with the responsibility. He gave me the guidelines and ask that I use my educational background to begin this process. As of today HHI now has a plan in place, has began to implement in preparation to meet the certification. goals in 2016. This was a huge milestone for me because we are now certified for ISO90000.

I was responsible for operating the lazier saw and lathes. I was required to use calipers and & mandrels in inspection of the parts prior to shipping to assure accuracy.

My position required skills in pipe fitting and machine operations with galvanized pipe. We also manufactured handrail and stair stringers that I worked with.

My position required me to learn and operate scissor lifts, z- boom saws, cranes and forklifts. It also gave me my start in construction field specifically erection of structure steel.

Fabrication of utility trailers. My job encompassed the manufacturing, design, and quality control of our products. I supervised a team of six.

I worked with S&S Steel Inc. as a fabrication technician. I was required to operate all the fabrication equipment as well as a welding/fitting team member. From this position I gained a great deal of experience I have been able to take with me to my present position. HHI, Inc. has been able to consulted with S&S in the process of QS9000 certification due to the contacts and experience I gained from this company. This has been a huge benefit to HHI.
