As a developer, I focused on automation and configurator development, primarily writing software while also working directly with customers to explore new project ideas. I contributed to the development of several of our products, including RoofDesigner, AutoCasco, and Platform. During this time, I also developed a strong digital mindset, continuously looking for ways to improve and automate.Working in a smaller Dutch company pushed me to improve my Dutch language skills, making it easier to communicate with both colleagues and clients.

Throughout my masters I became fascinated by Design Automation and how it can influence the product development process by minimizing repetitive work and increasing the creative part of an engineer’s job. That’s why I couldn’t miss the opportunity to join CADblanche and further develop my programming abilities to learn more about how to implement it in real life. My main task was to create custom software solutions for our customers to improve their internal processes. An example of a tool I created was the Pim2Doc, it is a way for our customer to visualize a library of 3D models, automatically generate drawings and images.

In my role as a Design Engineer, I worked on adapting our waterjet design to meet specific customer requirements. This involved creating tailored jet configurations through precise calculations, 3D modeling, and making detailed technical drawings. Additionally, I contributed to the ongoing development and refinement of our waterjet concept, ensuring it continuously evolved over time.

Investigated the possibility of integrate Multidisciplinary Design Optimization in Leko Labs's product development process. The project primarily focus on developing the underlying models including automated structural analysis and a sustainability analysis.

During my university studies I was a tutor for several CAD courses covering both basic and advanced topics such as skeleton models. This role demanded strong pedagogical skills and in-depth knowledge of the software.

During my summer job at RUAG, I undertook various assignments, this includes designing new test equipment and investigating drilling methods to improve manufacturing. This role significantly enhanced my skills in CATIA and improved my ability to analyze and solve complex engineering problems.

I designed and produced the pedal box for the Linköping University Formula Student team’s car, ER17. We achieved 18th place out of 82 participants at the Silverstone competition. The project was a collaborative effort among 50 students, each responsible for different aspects of the car. Since the pedal box is interacting with several of the other subsystems of the car I collaborated with the drivetrain, electronics, and chassis teams.This challenging project enhanced my skills in 3D modeling, integration, and manufacturing both creating drawings for outsourcing and producing them myself by operating machinery such as milling and turning. Tool used in the process:- Creo Parametric (3D modeling)- Ansys (FEM)- Altair (Topology Optimization)

During several years I worked as a climbing instructor in evenings and on weekends. I held courses and helped arranged camps for kids during summer. The work suited me since I’m safety conscious and patient.
