Hi, I’m Daniel Hiller and my goals in life are to have great relationships, create value, and to become wiser along the journey. Over my nearly 25 year’s career I've been exposed to 2 quite different business environments: multinational corporations on the offshore energy infrastructure industry, and the entrepreneurial small/mid-size national companies in the manufacturing and education segments. Along the way have been serving as Region Vice-President, Sales & Project Director, Entrepreneur, Investor, Advisor, Engineer and volunteer.This experience allowed me to develop a solid balance of core capabilities of execution, commercial and leadership, qualifying me to handle large & complex projects, manage sales & operations functions, develop multidisciplinary teams, lead business units & regions within multinational corporations and mid-size national companies, including act as advisor to family companies and do business on highly regulated and contractual environments.I am a Brazilian national holding a mechanical engineer and master’s degree in the same field, plus other specializations on management, leadership and innovation. I’m a Christian, husband, and father of one daughter. Love to be outdoor among nature and to reflect & learn. I am a conscientious person oriented to results and driven by challenge.If you are interested, here are some achievements I've been fortunate to experience, always accompanied by incredibly talented people:• Led the Brazil Region BU through a nearly 3-fold growth period, being responsible for strategic positioning, sales, execution, and P&L (sized at about US$1bn / year and 1800 people, representing 20% of Subsea7’s group)• Achieved a record order book of nearly $3bn on subsea construction contracts leading the Sales function• Delivered a range of projects including large complex EPCI contracts with extensive supply chains for Energy producers such as Petrobras, Shell and others• Qualified and deployed (winning a design competition) an innovative subsea system with 5 word-first elements which comprised the 1st permanent riser system on Brazilian pre-salt.• Led the turn-around and restructuring of a family business on the manufacturing sector, preparing it for a period of growth• Act as volunteer, advisor, investor and entrepreneur in the areas of manufacturing, education and wellbeing , and took a Sabbatical leave to run that plus personal & learning projects.• Visited some 15 different countries for business and leisure trips, and also worked on offshore vessels for several months during my early career
