Civil Servant It Project Manager
Current• Responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion• Plans and designates project resources, monitors progress, and keeps stakeholders informed the entire way• Works directly and proactively with the Network Enterprise Center (NEC) teams and coordinators, as well as, with end users to ensure maximum effective use is made of IT tools, techniques, and methodologies in proposing, developing, and implementing IT projects• Provides support and expertise for assigned areas and maintains current knowledge of relevant hardware and software applications and technologies• Ensure adherence to procedural requirements• Works relationships to include technical and managerial personnel at all organizational levels of the NEC• Utilize commonly applied security principles, concepts and methodologies in carrying out recurring assignments independently.• Reviews future IT project requirements and develops strategies for future workload• Conducted multi-discipline security related trainings to support security awareness• Ensures all security training is up to date to include Anti-Terrorism, Threat Awareness and Reporting Program (TARP), Information Security, Intelligence Oversight, Derivative Classification, Marking Classified Information and CUIOther key roles include:• LNEC Emergency Operations Center Officer (EOC)• Backup Authorized Service Interruption Coordinator (ASI)• Building Energy Manager (BEM)• Continuity of Operations (COOP) and Disaster Recovery Manager• Safety Officer• Fire Marshal
