Delivery of a change transformation project to integrate a replacement Back office settlement system (Gloss) into a Live operations environment whilst negating operational and regulatory risks. During the project it was my responsibility to map current business processes, define how these processes will replicated within the new system whilst ascertaining key areas of improvement to current processes, building and maintaining interface mapping documents whilst providing logic to the developers to build, debug and enhance the middleware interfaces. Creation of SIT/UAT test cases and execution of these whilst working alongside system vendor and the business to ensure system compatibility and functional abilities, I was instrument to the go-live process and full business support during the period immediately following go-live whilst also continuing the tracking , testing and implementation of pending changes deemed non-critical at go-live..Prior to the project I was managing two teams delivering very different products, The Prime Brokerage asset servicing team and the Prime Brokerage Pre-Settlements Team which provide the backbone to the Back office Securities Services Department. The Pre-Settlement Team confirm over 40,000 trades monthly of varied product type both Domestically and through the Euroclear CSD. Whilst the Asset Servicing Team process and monitor over 1000 monthly market claims relating to Fixed Income coupons, Manufactured Overseas Dividends and Market protection for Counterparties/Traders Instructions on Corporate Action Issues.
