Engineer at Dioxide Pacific, Warriewood NSWJuly 2021 – CurrentWorking on the electrical design, commissioning, and testing a range of chemical production and dosing systems for water treatments and disinfection applications.My main responsibilities were as an engineer at Dioxide Pacific were:- Electrical and chemical commissioning of generators - Performed electrical testing of generators testing instrument outputs with digital and analog 4-20mA loops, instrument functionality, PLC card status and HMI interfacing.- Development of an Allan Bradley PLC and HMI program for a chemical production system, including general control, user interaction and alarming- Testing and fault-finding system PLC programs using Sysmac studios (Omron NJ/NX controllers) in depth to ensure complete functionality of systems- Configuring PLC I/O cards and uploading system programs and setpoints to main controller, HMI, EtherCAT VSD drives, Ethernet Ip/EtherCAT remote I/O couplers and ensuring communications between each- Review and mark up electrical drawings, Process & Instrumentation Diagrams to be produced to clients- Installation of electrical components and 24V control wiring based on careful review of technical documentation- Produce and complete ITP documentation to ensure thorough testing and functionality of the system- Entries into MS Access database of electrical drawings, ITPs and P&IDs Skills that I acquired from my responsibilities are:- Network configuration for control system devices - Software development and troubleshooting of PLC programs- NJ & NA Sysmac Studios training for PLC and HMI- AutoCAD 2023 for electrical and P&ID drafting- Electrical fault finding and installation of electrical devices- Ensuring tasks were completed on time while maintaining a high standard
