I work as a paralegal at maritime and international trade firm Mills & Co. Solicitors Limited. At Mills & Co. I take great pride in being involved in an interesting variety of wet and dry shipping matters. My work is varied and ranges from extensive document management to drafting legal documents. I am energised by the academically stimulating nature of shipping law and enjoy researching complex legal problems in-depth.My skills and knowledge are built upon my strong educational background. I am a graduate of Law with European Legal Studies from Newcastle University. During the third year of my degree, I completed an exchange at top university Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium (KU Leuven) where I studied masters-level international law modules. This experience inspired my passion for work of an international nature.My previous work experience includes working part-time as a banking associate at Virgin Money for over five years during my studies. I have also enjoyed an insightful week of working on the legal team of global engineering consultancy Cundall.
