As a commercial tenant broker, Dan’s accomplishments have earned him consistent recognition as one of the firm’s top producers. Dan has represented tenants in transactions exceeding 6 million square feet of space with a transaction value exceeding $3 billion. He has led a team which provides strategic planning and sophisticated financial and technical analysis to create cost-saving real estate solutions. Among his clients are The Clearing House, Covington & Burling LLP, Steptoe & Johnson, LLP, IHS Markit, Ares Capital, Onex Investment Corp., Blue Ridge Capital, CUNY, Rockefeller Brothers Fund, Valentino and Burberry.Activities & AchievementsIn 2010, Dan won the Real Estate Board of New York’s (REBNY) Most Ingenious Deal of the Year award for representing The Silberman Fund in a transaction of “byzantine complexity," as The New York Times described. It involved three interdependent transactions that resulted in a new 140,000-square-foot facility for the Hunter School of Social Work. In 2009, Dan was also nominated for the coveted REBNY award for a headquarters transaction that he closed on behalf of Burberry.Dan has also been named one of Real Estate New York's 2009 Commercial Broker All Stars and was featured in The Commercial Observer’s Power Broker column. Dan is active in the Real Estate Board of New York and the Young Men’s/Women’s Real Estate Association, and serves on the Board of Governors of The PENN Club. He also spearheaded a tutoring program for inner city youth and is involved with the Friends of the Upper East Side Historic District. In addition, Dan has authored articles in numerous real estate publications.
