CurrentAs the Asset Manager of the Houston Parks Board’s Bayou Greenways 2020 program part of my job is to oversee the long-term Capital Replacement program for Bayou Greenways facilities and amenities. I review Construction documents prepared as part of the Bayou Greenways 2020 Capital program and the Capital Replacement program to insure the designs and specifications comply with the goals, standards and requirements of the Conservation and Maintenance program. Help to ensure smooth transition from construction of completed Bayou project areas to maintenance phases.Other duties include Inspecting work of various contractors and agencies, both public and private, in implementing the repair and replacement of Bayou Greenways facilities and fixed assets. Overseeing the management of woodland areas, including reforestation, and pruning or removal old dead, diseased, or undesirable trees. Providing communication and coordination with Houston Parks Board staff, all key stakeholders, and government agencies, including Houston Parks and Recreation Department, Harris County Precincts and Harris County Flood Control District, to maintain the Bayou Greenways facilities.
