CurrentAs a Company Sergeant Major (CSM), my primary responsibilities include:1. Team Leadership & Management: Lead and manage a team of over 100 personnel, ensuring high levels of performance, morale, and professionalism.2. Operational Oversight: Supervise the planning and execution of complex training programmes, ensuring all team members are fully prepared and operationally ready.3. Employee Welfare & Support: Provide advice and support to the workforce, and signpost to specialist organisations for further support if needed. This requires me to be emphatic in my approach, available for soldiers when needed and actively listen to their concerns. 4. Standards & Compliance: Enforce company policies and standards, maintaining discipline and ensuring adherence to organisational regulations.5. Training & Development: Organise and deliver comprehensive training programmes, fostering continuous professional development and skill enhancement.6. Strategic Advising: Provided expert advice to senior leadership on personnel management, operational readiness, and organisational improvements.7. Resource & Administration Management: Manage resource allocation, duty rosters, and leave schedules, optimising efficiency and ensuring smooth operations.
