Danny Inukai is the Managing Director of Technology at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art. Starting in October 2019, Inukai is responsible for managing the systems, infrastructure and technology assets for museum and associated staff offices. Prior to joining the museum, Inukai served as the Chief Technology and Innovation Officer at SAG-AFTRA (formerly SAG), overseeing the Center for Business Innovation, Information Technology and Residuals Processing departments. In his time at SAG-AFTRA, Inukai worked to modernize the company’s technology assets, while delivering new innovations to its members including a redesigned website, a new member mobile app, direct deposit of residuals and paperless signatory packages and contracts. Before moving into the top technology position at SAG-AFTRA, Inukai started and led the Analytics group, bringing in business intelligence and centralized reporting to help shift the company to be more data driven. Inukai has held numerous other positions in the information technology field, including Software Developer, Business Analyst and Project Manager at Boeing. In his five years at the Boeing Company, Inukai was instrumental in an initiative to consolidate financial systems at Boeing’s 22 legacy business units.Inukai graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona in management information systems and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
