Currently employed as a Horticultural Officer. Involves dealing with varying stakeholders such as contractors and the general public. Current role includes gardening and maintenance, my knowledge of plant identification and weed control methods are skills which are used each day at work. At Darebin the projects that I am most passionate about have involved working with the rewilding team to help promote biodiversity through the control of weeds and reintroduction of native species. Also important to my development has been the opportunity to work at two premier parks within Darebin, these being Edwards Lake Park in Reservoir and All Nations Park in Northcote.I have completed varying training programs whilst at Darebin, these including: Introduction to Personal Support Training, Aboriginal Cultural Awareness Training, ACUP Chemical Users Training and Chainsaw Operation Training.

Apprentice Horticulturalist at Darebin City Council through AGA apprenticeships. This included working with varying teams whilst completing Certificate III in Parks and Gardens. Was able to fast-track apprenticeship to 2 years and 6 months of study by taking on more coursework in my own time.

Full time role involving customer service and general admin tasks. Use of Microsoft and Adobe suite of software packages. Also, cash handling, EFTPOS, photocopiers, printers, trimmers, guillotine and binding equipment.
