During my time at JPL, I worked on the Holographic Examination for Life-like Motility project who's goal was automate the process of evaluating whether or not an extraterrestrial sample of liquid contained particles that moved in a "life-like" manner. This task, while easy for humans, required extensive knowledge of computer vision, tracking algorithms, and machine learning techniques to be accomplished by machine. Due to a very limited expected downlink, a significant amount of effort was spent making the data as condensed as possible and get the most information we could from our data allotment.

My responsibilities include troubleshooting networking issues(DHCP, IP Registration, Wireless/Wired) in order to connect devices to the network, configure VPN (Cisco AnyConnect / built-in versions) so that users can access the network, facilitating user checks and re-enabling Accounts (DUO security, Active Directory, Password Reset), and documenting solution steps for reoccurring problems in order to streamline help for customers.

Worked extensively with the Waterfall bioinformatics pipeline and helped create a modified PCA analysis function specifically suited for single cell RNA sequencing purposes.
