As a Hiring Specialist in event security, I am responsible for managing the recruitment process and ensuring the smooth onboarding of new employees. My key job duties include:· Hiring Events: Organizing and running hiring events to attract candidates. Planning logistics, coordinating interview schedules, and conducting interviews to identify qualified individuals.· Applicant Tracking System: Utilizing iCIMS, an applicant tracking system, to process candidate paperwork. Managing candidate information, tracking the progress of applications, and maintaining organized and accurate candidate records.· New Employee Orientation: Facilitating the onboarding process for new employees by conducting comprehensive orientation sessions. Ensure that new hires receive necessary information, complete required paperwork, and feel welcomed and supported as they integrate into the organization.· Employee Management and Compliance Tracking: Utilizing Winteam, an enterprise resource planning program, to manage employee information and track compliance. Inputting employee data, updating direct deposit and tax forms, and ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulations.· Employee Scheduling Management: Utilizing ABI, an enterprise self-service program, to schedule employees efficiently. Inputting new hire information, including personal details, pay rates, and security license information to enable efficient scheduling and ensures compliance with security regulations.As a dedicated Hiring Specialist, I prioritize attracting top talent for event security roles and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.
