My primary duties focus on answering in-bound patient calls for several health centers throughout New Mexico, scheduling appointments, explaining services, answering general questions about extremely sensitive topics. Beyond that, because our office did not have have a standard administrative staff I took on additional responsibilities that an administrative assistant would perform: receiving patients, vendors, business partners etc. at the lobby, coordinating office equipment, phone, security, and building maintenance, helping new employees learn our phone system, distributing mail, light technical support in office and coordinating with the IT help desk remotely. I've even taken on some security responsibilities, providing new employees with office keys and ensuring they're returned at the end of employment, providing security tours, setting up new employees with alarm codes. I've been something of a jack of all trades here!

Albuquerque, New Mexico Area

Handling in-bound technical support calls for customers with Android phones. Would offer step-by-step solutions for the customer, handle reporting of service outages and navigate our own system to help with potential network issues.

Greater Los Angeles Area

I scheduled fitness instructor certification and continuing education workshops, being specifically responsible for contacting gyms and fitness studios to host these workshops. For the two years I worked at AFAA this time around our two person team maintained an event schedule of between 75 and 125 new events every month. I would also assist in working with vendors for furniture and sound equipment as needed.
