Dan delivers innovative property solutions in support of the City of Ottawa's strategic initiatives. As a Real Estate Advisor, Acquisitions in the Strategic Initiatives department, he provides professional expertise and advice while facilitating real estate transactions. A firm believer in clear an honest communication, Dan thrives in developing genuine relationships to achieve impactful results in this area of corporate real estate. Dan has prior experience within the City of Ottawa within the Planning, Real Estate and Economic Development (PRED) department, most recently as an Economic Development Officer. Prior to joining the City, Dan spent many years in the private sector. As the General Manager of the Minto Skating Centre, a large recreational facility, Dan was responsible for all business operations, including facility sales, financial analysis and day-to-day operations. Dan also spent numerous years with the Ottawa Senators organization, where he led a large team in selling and executing a variety of world-class hockey programs. He possesses over fifteen years’ progressive experience in leading teams, complex projects and in developing marketing, sales and revenue generating strategies.
