· Establishing and implementing logistics procedures in line with organizational requirements. · Planning the quickest and least costly transport routes. · Ensuring that all contractual obligations are fully understood by the logistics team. · Preparing paperwork for regulatory bodies and audits. · Keeping up to date all relevant documentation, vehicle logbooks, fuel consumption records and servicing protocols. · Hiring and training high logistics driver team. · Scheduling warehousing to provide work schedules. · Managing and monitoring the arrival time of containers abroad. · Collaborating with warehouse, inventory & purchasing department to help ensure timely delivery to warehouse. · Managing transit times to ensure timely warehousing of containers.

· Monitoring & managing pickup, staging and shipment operations for orders. · Maximizing space usage within the warehouse and setting aside storage areas for new stock. · Keeping the warehouse inventory current. · Coordinating between production team and SCM team for maintaining capacity of warehouse. · Comparing with physical inventories and system inventory stocks and reconciling variances. · Planning future warehouse capacity requirements. · Investigating any inventory losses & reporting damaged products. · Ensuring products are stocked correctly and safely. · Complying with all health, safety and environmental standards. · Making up delivery order for delivery and pickup. · Keeping unauthorized persons out of the warehouse. · Maintaining accurate staff attendance records. · Managing the security of the warehouse. · Coordinating with and assigning work to the warehouse team. · Managing a fleet of distribution trailers. · Hiring and training new warehouse staffs.

· Coordinating release entry processing for ocean import shipments in the U.S.A. · Processing the paperwork and documentation according to the requirements. · Arranging & coordinating delivery orders, pick up numbers, and freight availability. · Submitting data into the computer for customs clearance and prepared customs related documentation. · Determining the most cost efficient carrier to deliver.

· Directing employees on a daily basis and interacting with customers to ensure customer satisfaction. · Maintaining employee work schedules and event calendars maximize productivity. · Scheduling weekly inventory pick up and deliveries with vendors.
