Responsibilities include:- Conduct threat and risk assessments in accordance with ISM, PSPF and DSPF- Undertake threat analysis and intelligence gathering and report findings to stakeholders- Carry out certification and accreditation of physical and ICT assets and ensure compliance with Government policies and procedures- Conduct vulnerability management and assessment of security configurations- Conduct high level public engagement activities and operations with local, state and federal agencies, providing liaision support and subject matter expertise within domestic and operational environments- Develop and implement security threat assessments and risk assessments- Apply discoveries from the incident response process to make improvements to existing detection and control capabilities-Prepare and deliver Security Governance courseware in accordance with the ISM, PSPF and DSPF-Interpret and review training design materials ensuring compliance with information security protocols- Liaise and coordinate with external stakeholders to enhance tactics, techniques and procedure while promoting interoperability

The QFES Fire and Rescue Service (FRS) is responsible for ensuring the capacity of operational staff to respond in emergent situations. FRS also encompasses focus on prevention and preparedness to avert emergency incidents as well as response and recovery. These activities include regional and community education, building fire safety, hazard identification and risk assessment and working with communities to plan and mitigate disasters.Responsibilities include:- Conduct auditing and compliance assessments of businesses in accordance with Government regulations- Inspection of facilities and businesses to identify hazards and deficiencies- Establish and maintain public relations by conducting fire prevention awareness and educational training- Develop and deliver community safety presentations to internal and external stakeholders- Coordinate fire protection support agreements and pre-incident plans
