Morgan Stanley is the preeminent advisor to companies, governments, and investors from around the world. I served as an analyst and associate in the Operations Division, providing support to Morgan's institutional fixed income trading desk. I joined the firm as a member of the prestigious analyst program and was promoted to associate immediately upon becoming eligible.My primary function was to avoid and resolve any trade process issues that exposed the firm to operational risk. This involved coordinating between the trading desk, clients and vendors to ensure the quality of our data. In addition, I compiled and presented metrics for my cost center's activities on a weekly and monthly basis.
