• Working within a warehouse start up as an acting despatch team leader, managing teams of up 20 people and ensuring vehicles are correctly loaded and leave on time• Conducting and managing regular stock counts of the warehouse, then using the Red Prairie Warehouse Management System to investigate any stock discrepancies that arise and communicating these to the operations manager • Creating reports to monitor and manage any lost stock, allowing higher management to see why stock is lost, what actions have been taken and what the next steps are in attempting to find the missing stock • Using the Red Prairie Warehouse Management System for picking, despatch and goods in functions as well stock control and solving any system issues stopping orders from being despatched• Managing and developing the stock control team within the new warehouse including interviewing new team members, conducting monthly one-to-one’s and managing holiday requests

• Explaining and demonstrating different products to ensure customers are well informed when making purchases• Delivering monthly sales and service level targets

• Using SAP and other internal sources for data analysis• Finding stock availability to fulfil customer orders• Requesting stock transfers for surplus stock in other warehouses to fulfil customers backorder • Order book management to reduce customers back orders by either improving the delivery date or offering an alternative tyre for the customer• Creating reports in Microsoft Excel to judge customer behaviour and internal performance• Customer service – Placing customer orders; Liaising with the logistics provider and answering customer queries’ as to when their tyres will be delivered.
