Having spent a highly rewarding decade plus away from the UK, my wife and I have decided to move to the UK to start a new chapter in our lives.Over my years away, I have learnt a huge amount both in the specifics of my English teaching career and in the diverse and international workplaces I've been able to contribute to. It's now my intention to utilise the skills and experience I've gained to take the next exciting steps in my life and career. Here's what I look forward bringing to my future role. I have:- extensive experience of working in hugely diverse international environments, including the UK, the Czech Republic, Italy, and Japan.- a proven ability to work cooperatively in teams, but also to manage my own work and schedule, and define goals and targets.- the willingness and desire to undertake additional training and qualifications to enhance work performance and career. This includes gaining a distinction in the Delta Module 1 exam I took in June 2022.- competence in using the core MS Office apps (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint), not to mention a range of bespoke company systems. I'm also an avid user of tech outside work, and have personally undertaken training to improve my skills and knowledge in this area.- the ability to manage the human side of work, especially regarding motivating and sustaining motivation in my students, and supporting my colleagues.- the flexibility to adapt to changing demands, whether these arise from my employer's needs, the client, or unpredictable events such as the corona virus pandemic.
