Facilities Specialist
CurrentAt Wausau Financial Systems, I am responsible for identifying and fixing issues related to the internal and external parts of the facility. Some of the numerous areas I facilitate are:Operate a forklift in company warehouseCamera, doors and security issues – monitor, fix and repair Ergonomics – adjust monitor, add keyboards trays, adjust explain and fix chairs Hang whiteboards, corkboards, pictures, etc.Onboarding / exiting of employees including: keys, setup, lights, name tag, cad location update. Pluming & lightning All pest bug control Work with cleaning crew, landscapers, snow removalEnsure confidential information is shredded accordinglyOnsite vendor managementOrder supplies for facilities and shipping departments Identify and fix when possible HVAC or place maintenance calls Arrange for set up and/or maintenance of gas grill and popcorn machine and keep record of scheduled usage. Fire / weather safety - update fire extinguishers and AED’s. Set up and run fire and tornado sweeps in our corporate office Shipping and receiving, warehouse, facilities support and backup with only two employees in our department Pick up parts needed for facilities repairs. Pick up / drop off employees from airport and provide a company car for their use. Scheduled through us general basic maintenance for the fleet of company car
