About Daniel K.
I am a detail-oriented recent MPH graduate from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. During the course of my academic career, I also managed to accrue thousands of hours of volunteer and clinical experience in healthcare settings, ranging from large academic in-patient hospitals, to smaller outpatient private clinics, as well as investigational and research opportunities at public health departments such as Dallas County Health and Human Services.I also had the privilege of working for the San Juan Bautista School of Medicine as a Peer Tutor in my free time, where I learned valuable professional skills such as adaptive teaching methods, instructional techniques, and peer counseling. In addition to medical school, through my undergrad at Duke University, I learned the essential skills of laboratory procedure in a hands-on life science lab setting, including but not limited to proper note-taking, flow cytometry, plating and culture media inoculation, live pathogen incubation, PCR gel electrophoresis, fume hood procedure, and more. In both my academic and professional life, I have been consistently praised as diligent by my professors and peers. Whether working on academic, extracurricular or professional projects, I apply proven language, writing, and clinical skills, which I hope to leverage into a career in medicine and medical research. After reviewing my resume, I hope you will agree that I am the type of competent and reliable candidate that you are looking for.
