As COO, I am a member of Inspired Energy's ELT, a 4-person team responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for the company. I work with and report to the Board of Directors to develop, report on, and execute long term goals for the company. I oversee the following departments: Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Engineering and Support, and Injection Molding with direct reports including manufacturing engineers, technicians, Quality and Production managers. I provide a heavy focus on vertical integration of processes, automation implementation, and process efficiency improvements to the Manufacturing floor, as well as expanding IE's Quality and Injection Molding departments.Programs I work with are NetSuite (by Oracle), Sage50, Microsoft Office, Creo/ProE, AutoCAD, LabView, Jira, Teams, and Trello.

Oversaw the Mechanical Design engineering department of Inspired Energy. Was responsible for leading design projects, performing design validation testing, working directly with the Sales/Marketing departments and the end customer on the design of custom products using ProE/Creo (3D modeling) and AutoCAD (2D). Created and maintained assembly documentation and product (mechanical) datasheets. Ensured proper design documentation was created and appropriate testing performed. Performed design reviews and minor DFMEA's. In charge of IE's in-house injection molding operations.

Designed injection molded and formed/die cut metal enclosures/parts, lithium ion smart battery packs/chargers, IP66- & IP67-rated enclosures, simple pneumatic machines and jigs for use on the manufacturing floor. Implemented automation and processes to improve efficiencies on the manufacturing floor, performed and created drawings for minor machining work (manual mill, manual lathe, drilling/taping, material specification), designed for and provided support for the resistance welding and ultrasonic welding processes. Worked hand-in-hand with Electrical Engineers on design projects and circuit board design.

Managed a Quality Assurance team, performed Quality investigations and conducted research for the Florida Department of Transportation's (FDOT) Mobile Retro-reflectivity group. Evaluated, calibrated and implemented mobile and handheld retro-reflectometers in order to ensure the accuracy and veracity of line striping retro-reflectivity data gathered and provided for the State of Florida.
