As a 2nd year undergraduate studying Psychology Bsc at the University of Exeter, my current focus is to develop a deep understanding of the field and to expand my academic skills. After achieving a 69.5 point average in my first year, I am enthusiastic about my course this year and the next. Previously I have worked locally near my home town of Great Torrington, working as general staff at Blackberry Farm shop. I occupied this role for 18 months, developing practical work place skills such as food preparation and hygiene, as well as maturing general attributes such as teamwork, independence, confidence and a loyalty to excellent customer service. I believe personally that no matter the situation, the most essential thing a customer can take aware from an interaction with me or my company is satisfaction and a wish to return.Outside of my life as a student, I follow my passion of skateboarding as my creative outlet. I am the Treasurer of the Exeter University Skateboarding Society, managing the funds of the society in the best way possible for the community. I hold this community close to my heart and the friendships I have within it.
