Technically skilled (German speaking) Accountant (BA) with a keen eye for detail, a strong analytical mind-set and a focus on quality, efficiency and process improvement in a dynamic, fast-paced and multinational environment. Hands-on and able to both take direction and initiative with excellent communication skills to facilitate decision making through finance and non-finance stakeholder engagement.After completing my apprenticeship at the BMW Group Niederlassung München I progressed into a full time role for two years. In order to further my career I decided to return to education, specialising in business matters, where I first developed my interest in financial analysing and accounting. After successfully passing the German Abitur (equivalent to A-Levels) the next step in my development was to build my competencies in this field and enrolled for International Business at the Manchester Metropolitan University. During this time I have also been working as a performance and sales controller for Osram Licht AG in both the UK and Germany. I have now successfully completed my Bachelors degree in International Business and after gaining an initial insight into financial controlling I believe the next step in my development is to obtain more experience as this will enable me to develop my skills.
