Having gained extensive experience working for Christie's Australia as their dedicated inhouse Art Director for more than 12 years under my own business name, this experience continued working with well-known art auction houses including Sotheby's International, Bonhams and Goodman, Freelance to Leonard Joels and Sotheby's Australia 10 years. Currently employed at Deutscher and Hackett as Design and Photography Manager.My key areas of specialisation include design, photography, colour management and production.My core areas of photography include fine art, Aboriginal Art, jewellery, asian works of art and decorative arts. My colour management skills have been honed not only through my experience working in the reproduction industry but also my direct experience producing international standard catalogues over many years. Being one of the original computer graphic designers in Australia, with more than 34 years’ experience in graphic design, I have experienced most positions in this industry ranging from inhouse graphic designer, computer graphics manager, illustrator, studio manager, and art director.Having worked with some of Australia’s most recognised brands in diverse industries such as book publishers, licenced products (ABC and AFL), toy packaging, fine art, real estate, retail, sport, and self-publishers, has enabled me to be well equipped to handle most design situations. The dual skills of photography and graphic design place me in a unique position to complete a project from start to finish. I am able to conceptually plan my photographic shot's for the layout, to ensure the best outcome for promoting the finished product in a sales campaign such as a catalogue, publication, book or advertising material.
