Served as Civilian Director of the Rehabilitation Programs at the Detention Facility in Parwan, Bagrum AFB, Afghanistan. Obtained and maintained a secret security clearance. The appointment was as a TDY assignment in conjunction with the Civilian Expeditionary Workforce (CEW).Supervised personnel activities that contribute to the successful rehabilitation of insurgency related detainees as they are prepared for release from detention. Supervised and contracted for various services of a group of contracted counselors, teachers and vocational instructors in support of the rehabilitation mission.
