I am passionate about problem solving using mathematics. My Masters research involved designing and fitting a new statistical model to proteomic mass spectrometry data using R to compensate for the high degree of missingness in such data. My current role at Optimatics involves web development, JavaScript and analysis of Optimizer output datasets.In my previous math tutoring role at the University of Adelaide, I enabled a diverse range of students, including international, postgraduate, and medical students, to move past their mathematical barriers and feel more confident about their problem solving capabilities. I acted as part of a co-ordinated team to provide timely service to students. The position relied on a high level of communication skills to bridge the gap between technical subject matter and nontechnical audiences. I advised medical students about statistical practice, which includes study design and interpretation of statistical results.
