• Responsible for overseeing data analytics at Academic Scheduling, defining metrics to support institutional goals. Supports student-centric scheduling by managing business processes and collaborating across departments. Ensures compliance with Dallas College policies and regulations whilefacilitating innovative solutions directed by college leadership in a fast-paced environment.• Oversees the full scope of daily operations and services in Data Analytics within Academic Scheduling.• Analyzes data and trends to provide direction and leads new processes and procedures. Provides high-level leadership and direction for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the schedule.• Provides executive summaries and data visualizations to quickly communicate meaning of analysis to Academic leadership in a clear and concise manner including implementation strategies.• Implements proactive strategies to adjust to changing environments and trends in application processing using best practices and current technological solutions.• Routinely draws upon historic context to independently make strategic decisions, including identifying stakeholders and conducting fact finding prior to escalation to leadership.• Provides necessary training to internal/external stakeholders on data interpretation, data evaluation, statistical and analytical techniques.• Manages several projects simultaneously, organizing, and prioritizing work based on shifting and complex needs.• Supervises up to 10 staff members. Leads, mentors, and supports the professional growth of direct reports, building a culture of continuous improvement, the automation of processes, and cross-training.• Develops and manages the department budget.

- Investigate and unpack the nuances of the schedule, inform the direction and practices to refine the student centric scheduling efforts, conduct complex analyses using scheduling data in an as-needed basis (right-sizing, enrollment growth, KPIs, execution of term schedule build.)- Maintain current technology and innovate with current processes, reporting needs(demand forecasting report, enrollment predictive model, automated deliveredreports, etc.)- Collaborate across departments such as institutional research and student servicesand establish regular reporting findings, liaise with IT department regarding internalprocesses.- Supervise scheduling team Data Analysts and ensure quality of analyses, effectivelydeploy direct reports against analytical problems, and ensure quality control ofteam’s output.

- Perform technical and analytical tasks with emphasis on the collection, interpretation, reporting, aggregation and evaluation of data. Responsible for writing simple to complex queries for data extraction, analysis and prepare related reports and summaries as requested.-Gather, chronicle and categorize research material and maintain institutional databases and archive records. Respond to ad-hoc requests for information from internal and external entities.- Identify, create and maintain a variety of research material and analyses to staff and clients in support of college planning, resource allocation and decision-making efforts.- Assist with the preparation of mandatory reports to the Texas Legislature, or in the preparation of information needed for meeting the Board of Trustees Strategic Goals, or in the preparation of information needed by the campus Cabinet member(s).
