As a Senior Economist in the CBI's Economic Analysis team, I produce regular briefing, commentary and analysis on topical macro-economic issues of concern to UK business. In addition to my regular duties, I input into a number of policy campaigns.From 2011 to 2014, I led the CBI's coverage of the Eurozone economy, producing regular analytical commentary for CBI members on economic trends and developments in the sovereign debt crisis, as well as a quarterly forecast report. From June 2014, I have taken on the Economic Analysis team's coverage of emerging markets, particularly China and India.Additionally, I lead the team's analysis and dissemination of the CBI's monthly Industrial Trends Survey, one of the UK's most prominent and longest running qualitative business surveys.
